With interactive panel discussions, a vendor shoot out, 2 day breakfast boot-camps and the largest range of operator case studies from around the globe, 2013’s conference is set to be the best yet!

We’re looking forward to an exciting interactive panel session and lots of interesting discussions on how policy can be used for both marketing and managing data traffic.

Our Innovation Recognised: GoS Networks Identified as one of “10 to Watch” in 2013

GoS Networks is excited to announce inclusion in leading industry analyst firm Stratecast’s “Global OSS / BSS 10 to Watch in 2013 ” report. The report identifies leading vendors that have pioneering solutions and selects those that “deliver proven, innovative products that help CSPs transform operations and improve the customer experience”.

We’re delighted that our innovation has been recognised: it’s an honour to be included in a leading report such as this. The OSS / BSS arena is rapidly evolving and our solutions ensure that operators can extend user experience management solutions all the way to smart devices.

This is the last piece of the policy jigsaw and our experience shows that operators are now investing in this domain, driven by increasing user demand for real-time applications and smart-phone penetration. The benefits of doing so are clear: happier customers and significant CAPEX savings that can be generated by optimising the experience and application behaviour in the RAN.

Inclusion in the report highlights growing awareness of the need for device-level solutions to deliver the optimal experience for users. GoS Networks continues to invest in enhancing its solutions to meet the challenges ahead.

Protection and Privacy: Fundamental Rules

Written by GoS on . Posted in Blog

In 2012 the GSMA published a set of guidelines for privacy when designing a mobile application. The guidelines include a useful definition of what constitutes privacy with respect to mobile users, which is available for reference purposes.

The key issue that it addresses is the legitimate fear that user data will be used surreptitiously or maliciously. It clearly states that “even applications that legitimately access and use personal information may fail to meet the privacy expectations of users and undermine their confidence and trust in organisations and the wider mobile ecosystem”.

GoS Networks understands this issue and unequivocally supports the initiative. Under no circumstances will solutions that GoS Networks delivers to our customers breach these guidelines.

GoS Networks supports users rights to protection and users rights to choice. We are fully behind the GSMA guidelines and will not undertake any activity that contravenes them.

We are user friendly and operator friendly and will ensure that we adhere to the guidelines in everything we do. The complete set of guidelines can be found and downloaded here.

We care about our customers and their users and respect privacy at all times. We strongly believe in sound ethical practices, honesty and transparency. The bottom line is that we won’t put something onto peoples’ phones that we wouldn’t put on those of our own families.
